My Viewsonic VX900 Just Greyed Out??

Hello, I was doing a search for tech support on my monitor and came across this site. I just got home and it's is acting weird. It's not a black out, more of a light grey out. I can access the menu but the screen is just all light grey. I checked all the cords. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks.

 

If your running windows xp you might try system restore and go back to a point when your monitor was working fine, Other then that it sounds like it's dying.

 

No degauss on this one....and I am on Mac OSX. I emailed Viewsonic, we'll see what they say. It is 3 years old....I didn't think it would die this quick.

 

I did the cable test...I am going to have to try and hook it up to another cpu....but I have a feeling it's the monitor.

 

Good news is, it is still under warranty....better news is I still have the receipt. They said they will fix it or send me a new one.

OK...Viewsonic just burned me. I bought the LCD as an open box special, which voids the warranty. Great. Looks like I have a new place to hang my hat on.

 

This is nuts...I plugged it into my G5 at work and it works??? But not at home or my friends computer? And all 3 with the same cables.
