my web site

so i am trying to learn building a web site useing strait HTML (no fancy "write the code it for you" programs) and it is going to be really simple, basicly a bunch of links to sites that are good for newbie, someone that doesn't know jack about computers and is trying to learn, good tutorial sites, freeware download sites, stuff i think is good that i have used in trying to learn various subjects. but www.majorgeeks.com was going to be on there, and i am seeing, (cause i don't know) the people that own/run/monitor/whatever this site don't care if i do this do they? i am describeing it as
"for <b>free software</b> such as firewalls, virus scan, processor monitoring tools, spyware removal, and much much more. it allso has a very friendly <b>message board</b> for any tech questions you may have on anything computer related -except for things like warez or anything that is "illegal" or generally fowned on by authorities"

allso, if anyone else has any sites they have found very good for complete newbies to any particulair computer related subject (graphics design, free software, programming, even just surfing the web) then tell me.

Either Major Annoyan...er, Attitude or General Distraction (AbbySue) will have to answer the first part of your question about linking to the MG site, but for the second part about suggestions for newbies, if they're trying to learn XP, this site is really helpful, and I think it's aimed a lot lower on the tech-savvy ladder than most:
