My wireless AP hates some of my computers.

Okay, I've been dropped in the deep end here. With practically no networking experience, I've been landed with the job of administrating a 6 computer household wireless network. Only two computers so far, though, have connected to is successfully.

The others seem, so far, to have the same problem. They connect to the wireless access point, but it does not want to assign them an IP, or talk to them in any way. I tried to get around the IP assignment thing by giving them a static IP, but to no avail. Through a wire, they connect with absolutely no problems at all.

The settings are, apart from the IP, the same as on the machines that work, as far as I can tell, and I think they are all running Windows XP home SP2 (but I'm not entirely sure how to check - call me Nooby Jack McNoob). The wireless router in question can see them; they are listed in the router's LAN connections list. It just hates them :[

The router is a D-Link DSL-G604T, and every machine has different wireless equipment - one has a Belkin wireless USB thingy, another has an internal dowhacky, I don't know what it is and can't check right now... Sorry, I feel I'm being a tad unhelpful... I don't really know what to post - I think it might be better if you tell me what you need to know and I tell you.

Please please help me out, everyone's ready to draw blood because they want the Internet, and I'm scared!

 

Haha, I am such an idiot. It wasn't that the MAC addresses needed to be there (I did try entering them, but it seemed to crash the router :/ ), it was that I'd wrongly transcribed the WEP encryption key. What a prat.
