My XP themes are gone

I while ago i ran some programs in safe mode to clean my pc. I ran windows normally and My windows XP theme is gone and All i see is the old 98 ones, i went to change them back and nothing happends. I don't have my windows xp discs anymore. What can i do?

I also tried programs like Windowblinds but it still doesn't cover up the windows 98 skin

 

It makes it harder if you don't have your CD and have tried other skins.

Anyway, make sure first that the service is running and on auto.

Start, run and type in services.msc then scroll down and double click Themes.


If that doesn't help, leave it started and on auto, and download THESE replacements.
