MyIE2 changes name, now 2 versions

From the front page of MajorGeeks, today. 2 different versions, 2 different sizes, 1 skinnier, 1 fatter. Just to complicate discussions on browsers. Don't use it, old or new names, at present. Guess the fatter version is headed for shareware. Get it for free whils you can. Bazza

It's always been available in 2 versions, the lite version has less plug-ins included. And according to their forum, they have no intentions of becoming a shareware item, just wanted their own identity away from the 'IE' part.

They've also included some of their own security items, and even though it still runs of IE, it's a bit safer due to their own inclusions of some items.

I subscribe to Secunia's security updates, and lately there have been almost as many warning items for Firefox, Opera, et.al vulnerabilities as IE, so it seems common sense, security settings and patching is the best tool in this browser mess.

I've been using MYIE for some time,, and I'm using the new Maxthon now. It seems fine, actually a bit faster than than the last version. Some different colors, some different preferences choices, but much the same.
