MyIE2 Font display problems

    I use MYIE2 as my default browser at the moment. In the last 48 hours I seem to getting font issues on certain pages. My standard resolution is 1280 x 1024 (Win2K Pro SP4). On certain pages and sites the font size seems to be massively increased. For example the front page of our dearly beloved MajorGeeks is one, the fonts are huge, when I come onto the message boards everything is normal. I have a couple of other favourites that have just started doing this. I do not have this issue in Avant browser, Green browser or Firebird. Probably a simple answer but I'd appreciate someone pointing me at it.:)

    Got a partial solution by changing font view on each page manually, annoying though

    G1lga,
    Since nobody has shown up to tackle this one head-on, I'm going to try a little side-step around it.
    I had this very problem a few years back with a new version of Netscape, and after I fought it for a week or so with everything I could think of (and with a lot of help from the forums that were available back then), I gave up and went back to the previous version of NS, where I had had no problem. Then when the NEXT version was released (the one AFTER the one that wouldn't work on my machine), I tried it, it worked, and I've never had the prob again.

    OK. Two side-step ideas: I think that MyIE2 uses a lot of the files and settings of IE, so open IE, go to Internet Options under Tools, on the General tab hit Accessibility..., and check Ignore Font Sizes. Apply and OK and close IE and then reboot and try MyIE2 on some of the bad sites again.
    If that produces no joy at all, at all, then go to the various sources for MyIE2 and see whether you can get an archived copy of the PREVIOUS VERSION for now. Then if that doesn't produce the same prob, hold onto it until the next version comes out.

    If either of those does the trick (or not), you might come back and let us know, for future reference.

    this message board uses CSS formatting and IE does not support the resizing of CSS formatted text on a web page. 10 to 1 says your font size configuration on VIEW--> FONTS is set to a very large size.. make it medium or small and should be all set.

    @Wise

    Nice one, I updated MyIE2 recently, rolled back, problem solved. I'll wait for the next update and try that. I'm leaving new (non rolled-back) version on work laptop so I can run them alongside. I'll keep trying and report back if I find a fix.

    @Kodo

    Definiteley works on individual pages but some pages still do it and I have to change manually.

    Thanks for the quick response guys, appreciate it.:)

    it won't work on the message board 100%.. the only parts of the board that will resize are text in posts that are surrounded in VB TEXT SIZE code.. when that gets RegExp'd on display it replaces with the normal HTML font tag. The front page is completely different that the board.
