I installed a new Radeon AGP video card about a year ago after my old video card died. Ever since then when I boot up, the hardware wizard says it has found a new PCI card that needs to be installed. I can cancel the install and everything is fine, but the wizrd runs everytime I reboot. If I look under "problem devices" in system information it shows a PCI serial port with an error code of "1" (which I think means missing drivers). I also show two Radeon cards under the "display" folder in system information. One as primary, the other as secondary. I only have one video card. Any idea what the problem is and how I can make windows 2000 stop trying to install a PCI device I don't have? Thanks!

Well, are you positive that you don't have a PCI card in there somewhere? If yes, then try booting in Safe Mode, this way you'd see all the hidden devices as well, if certain simply remove the invalid/incorrect ones from the Device Manager...you could do the same with the AGP entries and let the system re-install the drivers (without your interaction even if it sees the installed drivers) but make sure you do not disable any of the entries for AGP just either remove it or let it be (if it is not causing problems).
I am not sure about the ATI cards but the Nvidia cards would not appear twice in the Device Manager even if they support the double-monitor feature, though it could be a different deal with ATI cards, I will let someone who knows ATI cards comment on that.
