N64 Emulator safe download?

So I checked the sticky and it said it was cool to talk about this. Just like the title says though, is there a safe place where I can download an N64 emulator and won't get a virus? I went to this site called emulator-zone.com and I didn't download anything because I wasn't sure if it was legit.

Thanks for the replies guys. Do you know where I could get a good ps2 emulator? I remember a while back I tried to set one up but in order for it to work I needed to dump the BIOS from a ps2 onto my pc. But I threw my ps2 out = /. Do i still need to do this?

First off, thanks for actually reading the sticky. I think that might make you unique.

Second, EmulatorZone is probably as legit as an emulator site can get, and as long as you get the file straight from their own servers they should be fine. If in doubt, google the name of the emulator after checking their reviews and get it from the official site.

And I don't think there is any way around the need to rip BIOS files from a PS2 to be able to install the emulator on your PC at this time... and there's a lot of other issues involved with that as well. If might actually be both quicker and easier for you to pick up a cheap used PS2 at a local yard sale.
