Name resolution doesn't work on Win2k3 Server!

Hi, all! Running Win2k3 Server (latest SP and patches), with SQL Server 2000 and Sharepoint Services running on it.

Name resolution is failing. Config'd DNS servers are live and valid, and other machines on network resolve fine (running from setting supplied by DHCP server). Tried using DNS servers hard-wired on the machine, as well as letting the DHCP server supply the DNS server IPs. No go. IP services work fine (ping, tracert, ftp, etc) as long as IP addy's are used, so it's not a basic TCP/IP issue. Uninstalled that annoying IE Enhanced Configuration nonsense last night; seemed to be working fine at that point. Rebooted this AM, and suddenly nothing. Attempts to get host names from nslookup queries fail, with the target server telling me that it can't transfer the zone to my machine (never seen this on a simple nslookup before!).

    Any thoughts? Thanks!
    Jack

Quick follow-up: name resolution via nslookup DOES work. Attempting resolution at higher levels do NOT work.

    Thanks...
