I have configured it and it worked nicely until recently. I have my own small movie archive there. For some reason it show me often server not recognized, and now it keep showing me that remote access is disabled and i can't reach it via cloud logging. The main focus was backup and Plex. Now plex is loading only 20% of my archive while 80% is not shown in my library. P.S. i bought life license for Plex that was because i wanted to make sure i have no restrictions. Now why the heck i can't load entire archive? What do i miss? Why it's working so unstable? Should i buy better router? Btw i am using cable internet with two routers. One is cable the main router and the second is TP link which i have configured for NAS.
Ill be waiting for tips and advices! Th in advance!

    Welcome to Major Geeks

Firstly, it is always best to state the exact Operating System, and any Service Pack if installed, you are using with any queries here.

I haven't ever used the WD My Cloud DL2100 but I have used Plex media server.

Just to be sure, have you as yet consulted the WD My Cloud user manual, its FAQs or its support options around asking questions?
    They are found here:

    Likewise with Plex.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64x it's with SP1 and it's updated, little about specs: i5 third generations, 12GB DDR3, 2x Nic Gigabit ports, well i don't need to be more specific with specs. But the fact is that i have done all that you have mentioned. Still waiting for answers from both sides Plex & WD. It's always good to ask for some more opinions. 5 heads can do a whole a lot more than just one head :) which is why i posted this thread. WD DL2100 is quite easy to setup once you register it on WD website. In few clicks whole configuration can be made. This model of NAS support 2x8TB but i decided to try it first with 2x3TB. I added just around 200 movies and there is no one except me who use it. There is no heavy work for this NAS because i upgraded it with 5GB of Ram and it's really working fine. If there is someone who have some nice experience or ideas i would like to hear it. If you have some question about this NAS i will try to answer the best i can.
