Hi, Sorry for the lack of info from before

I had followed all instructions....Adaware found and corrected all problems except for akaamon.dll which it said it couldn't delete...Spybot also found and corrected numerous problems.

I have a search bar below the address bar that is from lop.com that i cannot delete.

I also have a search bar on my desktop that has this link in the properties view http://lop.com/passthrough/newpass.htm

Popups browser windows are "popping up" a few links are below...

    And did you run:
    1) Ccleaner
    2) TrendMicro online scan
    3) PandaSoftware online scan

After making sure you have run the above 3 programs, do the following:

Download the VX2 finder, run it and select "click to find abetterinternet". Then select "make log" and copy/paste the log back here as an attachment. Along with that give me a current HijackThis log as a .txt attachment too.

If you are still looking for a fix for lop.com spyware, I found that the only way I could remove it was to download their (lop.com's) uninstall software. You can get to it by entering a dummy string in their search window. When their window open, then go to "Help" at the bottom of the page. An FAQ screen with then appear and one of them is regarding uninstalling their software. You may need to remove this site (lop.com) temporarily from the IE "restricted" zone to perform the download. I was leery of logging on to their site, but the "uninstall" did work, when nothing else did. Good Luck.
