    Hello,

I have a problem with all the ports being closed, although there is absolutely no firewall whatsoever. I'm connected directly into the Ethernet outlet in the wall in my apartment.

I contacted the ISP and they told me that all ports are open on their side but told me that my connection is a LAN and that they are using DHCP and NAT. The ISP also told me that the problem with ports would be because of NAT.

Can you guys help me with getting this solved? Thanks :D

if youre in an apartment that offers you internet access like that, and youre not in control of the router, theres nothing we can do for you. you have to talk to whoever is in charge of the building and bring up whatever concerns you have with them.
