NativeWrapper is crashing my system

I'm getting a crash every few days. I checked my event viewer and notice this
The description for Event ID ( 5000 ) in Source ( NativeWrapper ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: visualstudio7x80update, msiexec.exe, 1.0.1622.4946, kb953297, 1033, 64c, f, install, x86, 5.1.2600.2.2.0.768, 0.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I have seen this as well, not crashing my system though. KB953297 is an update for .Net1.1. I found a solution in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982. Basically, it says to uninstall all .NET components. Reboot, reinstall .NET3.5 (which also installs .NET2.0), install .Net1.1 and .NET1.1 Sp1. Give that a try. Good Luck!
