Nba Live 06 Game Crash Help!!

hi....i just tried installing nba live 2006 on my pc and when i get to the main screen, my screen blacks out and the only way to get out of it is to windows out....that is pretty much all i can explain about with my problem...ive tried updating everything on my computer, changing resolution and graphic options, and whatever else i can think of....i have an amd athlon 64-bit 3000+ xp processor....my graphic card is an nvidia geforce 6200 oc and i have 512mb of ram...if u need more info just let me know...but can anyone help me please!!!!

reinstalling the game could help, make sure while installing it u disable your antivirus program, and close all other open programs it can sometimes mess things up. I have no clue as to the system requirements but that shouldnt cause the problem you're having.

First thing I would do is not overclock your video card till you get this sorted.

It may have nothing to do with it, but it simplifies things.

Also, make sure you have installed all official game patches if any.

 

i did not overclock may vcard... i did see some post that i have to disable the speed from x8 to x4, but it is grayed in the mobo. so i cant, help please.
