I have tried to find this driver to no avail. I have a NEC floppy drive model number FD1231T. Does anyone know how to find this driver?

I didn't come up with that driver either. But I did find this one and it is a very close model number. Give a try.

Floppy drive drivers? I haven't heard of such a thing since Win3.0 (maybe even before that). Maybe if you explain the scenario we can help. Chances are if the floppy drive isn't working right, it has died and needs replacement. New floppy drives are only maybe $10 MAX at any PC store...

....oh yeah.... welcome to Major Geeks!

Yep, I know. It is my moms computer. She has a Dinosaur Dell Optiplex GX110. With a ***laugh*** Intel pentium 3 667mHz. She is elderly, 78 to be exact, and she won't let me buy her a new comp. So I just keep fixing this one when she messes it up. It doesn't really matter, all she does is play pogo and check email. Thanks for the help. And I am glad to be here.:D
I have had much help from the geeks, you guys should be in the comp and roll hall of fame. Thanks again. Chris B
