NEC Powermate desktop

Computer runs slow .... after power surge. sometimes I get 1 short beep at startup.

Checked for virus/malware have none. Disk cleanup/defrag already done, turnoff programmes at startup msconfig etc...

Is there anyway to reset this back to factory settings.

Sometimes when I turn computer on it takes ages to load. NEC support site is of no help. Would returning it back to factory settings do anything?

I don't get the option to reset this to factory settings, as it only gives me saved dates.

Waiting for my other computer to get fixed.

There is a sticker in the tower of your computer which told you about model number and product number , you must increase your memory , 2 gb of Ram is suggested !! :wave

 

Yes but avira rescue cd is better than others mate !!
