Need 3 monitors for stock trading

Fellow geeks,
I'm helping a friend set up his system for day trading, and he needs 3 monitors to view the necessary charts, info, etc. So far I have two set up via a dual port video card. For the 3rd, should I get another video card or a router? If I get a video card, how can I configure WinXP to split between 3 screens.It has dual monitor options, but doesn't mention 3. Maybe theres special software for viewing 3 monitors?
The other option is using a second PC and a router to maybe open one window on PC #1 and open the dual monitor - 2 windows on PC #2.
Has anyone heard of such an arrangement.

i know exactly what you mean, having 3 monitors but all extended as if displaying one? ive seen gaming pcs up for grabs on competitions on miniclip and they have 3 tft monitors that are like one monitor, but divided into 3rds and have each third on 1 monitor, is that it?

use matrox parhelia 512

they support 3 monitor on the same card...


expensive tough....but stilll....one of the only option...

 

I'm looking at three monitors/three different windows, right now.
It using two PC's ( your second option )
I have tryed to do set up on one PC, Dual output 8x AGP card and matrox single PCI, no luck yet, I havent given up yet.
Not long ago there was a thread here at MG of someone whom had accomplished what you want, I thought I save the link I can find at the moment, ya might search around.
I'll look latter, I have to go to hockey game now.

Or as the wizard posted get a Matrox triple view card.
