Need 4 Speed MW Help Plz!!!!

hi, having a problem with n4s MW. ive been playing it for a few days now, but yesterday it crashed and now when i insert the disk it shows there is no disk or that the disk is empty. i have updated dvd drive drivers, swaped disk for a new one, tested other dvds/cds that all work fine and even reinstalled windows and nothing has fixed this problem yet.

i now have no idea what the problem is so i was wondering if there are any genius's that can help me out?

dont worry i have solved my own problem, incase anyone else has this problem......

all i did was delete my dvd and cd drives off device manager, reinstall service pack2 and restart.

 

never mind what i just said, it worked to install it, and ran the game but then when i exited the game and took out the disk, it stoped working again.....

any ideas????

Did you try a clean reinstall of windows?

 

You gotta be kidding.

To the original poster:
Go into msconfig, and disable all startup items.

Then, try to install the game.

If it works, go ahead and re-enable all startup items again.
