Need a Dictionary, Thesaurus or Encyclopaedia

    Or you can just go to Google and type in define: followed by the word.

    For example, define: geek

    or you could get the extremely useful wordweb. its a dictionary thesauras and everything else at once. synonyms antonyms close to close spelling whatever! if yall want it i can post it on a hosting website or sometin

    I've got the pro version, and have been using it for years, but even the basic free WordWeb is great.

    I have no clue which version i have. i got it from my school. Cause it's required 7th and up to have a laptop!

    There isn't much difference.

    The paid Pro version is better for things like crosswords, which the free version doesn't have, but apart from that they are identical.

    Yeah, it's a great site, I've used it for years now. They have a really nice website now as well.

    Not everyone has Encarta. You either have to buy it, or have it pre-installed by MS on a new PC. Bazza
