need a good defragg tool

whats a good defrag tool for 64 bit windows 7 , defragler wont do it .. had alot of probs on this pc breaking it down lil by lil now disk heavily fragmented windows tool is a joke and derfraggler almost gets thru need good program .. thank u much to any one that can hep me lol

I've never had a problem with the Windows defrag routine - in fact, I rarely (if ever) run the defrag process. IMO Windows 7 and 8 both do well on their own - you may have other issues going on which are causing the fragmentation.

On older machines, however, I usually install Puran because it's lightweight and fast. Other good ones are from Auslogics and IObit.

 

yes pc was nfected big time so ive gottenn everything down to the defrag then of course do all my double checks , thanks for the help , my defrag gets to 60% then fails , im tryen to getter done lol t/y

 

tried the puran didnt do it gonna try the others let ya know how it goes

May I ask why you think you need to defrag?

 

Hi my friend , you have to check disk about bad sectors :wave

 

If you are running defrag to recover MANY bad sectors, you are losing data and its just a matter of time.....defrag or not.....the OS will die. I firmly believe if you are getting bad sectors, your hard drive is likely going bad.

had some problems with pc its only a year old bought new , tried to use my cam and camera onboard youcam program came up but wouldnt work so i did uninstal/renstal same thing wouldnt work then had log on probs toolbar listed http but nothen after so net couldnt display page so, ok i have a proplem lol booted yhmessenger got online from there came straight to geek site (u guys rock) well did the mbr check all drivers offset so, ok did the avg tune up first said one disk major fragmented recovery disk D so i thought ok tried all kinds of defragg tools , nothen , so i went back did mbr check , same thing so i did read me run me first nothen turned up so i did the mgtools with read me run me ill attach both here so u can see what im dealenn with and i got a phone call from an indian dude posing as microsoft lol the defrag tools all say 1 file block but chart shows all red im just about lost with the whole thing , i dont see how too attach report here

 

You have to go to the Advanced editor, then use Manage Attachments.
