Need a little advice!

I was given a Dell Dimension 3000, it has two user accounts I would like to do away with them and just have one.

Right-click on "My Computer", choose "Manage". Then in the tree on the left choose "Local Users and Groups". Then right-click on the user account you wish to delete (make sure you are not logged into the account to be deleted) and choose "delete".

 

Make sure you've backed up everything you want to save from the account as well... when you delete it, everything goes away.

 

Well after trying in both accounts to do ANYTHING! I gave up it is now being formatted and rebuilt with no users! Will be busy getting all the Dell drivers and what not but it will be nice and clean!

Well after the Dell drivers, 124 udates, SP3, IE7 I am still not quite finished. The above is after MSE, Malewarebytes and Superantispyware! Darn I think I miss 3.1, watching this stuff evolve over the past 30+ years has truly been a trip!

 

Well this is the 3000 runs like a clock, 131 updates, SP3, IE7, MSE, Malewarebytes, Securnia with a 100% score and Superantispyware. Life is goo glad I had the day off!!!!! Dell does put together a nice machine, no chintzyness like a few others. Broke down and curbed the XPS733 and the GX60 saved a few parts as usual. Then popped a second drive in to copy the C: onto for backup then I will unplug it for a backup.
