Can one of you kind folks recommend a good media player for Vista that's easy for a noob to use? Something like Media Player Classic would be good. Does MPC run with Vista? Maybe I'll just check it out myself.... and what about a good codec pack? I just installed a clean Vista on a noob's PC (his HD crashed) and want to make it as easy as possible for him to watch video clips of all kinds and listen to music.....

I suppose I could find this out on my own, but I'm not a Vista user so I don't know what's been proven solid and stable.....
