Need a new Motherboard thats similar to my old one

Hey guys, so im havin problems with my motherboard, pretty sure its shot and id like to just upgrade it.

I want to be able to use all my other hardware, my ram (6400 ddr2) atix1900 video card, all of it (or a better slot then this motherboard has, as long as this card is compatible with it)

I dont really care about price that much, but id say 50-150ish.

Try this. Seems to be a good replacement, plus you can upgrade your CPU to an AM3 based one in the future.

Im pretty sure i have a phenom processor, which wont work in that motherboard u posted would it? How can i check what processor i have? i took off the heatsink, but cant find anything relating to what kind of processor it is, but im pretty sure its a phenom, its a 2.4ghz quadcore

The MB supports the Phenom II

 

Ya but the thing is, i cant start up the computer, pretty sure the mobo died on me, wont post or anything. And i see that, but is there a difference between the phenom and phenom II?

I think the Phenom used an AM2 socket, where the Phenom II uses the AM3 socket. I think you should give serious thought to upgrading your CPU at the same time as the MB. You can do both for under 150

 

Id like to, but i also have to buy a graphics card, so I think id rather just get a motherboard like my old one, but something a little better, any suggestions? =\
