Need a new rig

    firstly, i appologise if this is in the wrong place, but i wasn't sure where else it would go.

    im looking to get a new laptop. i have one curently but im looking to get a slightly updated and more powerful one.

    im looking for something with:

    4GB RAM
    processor with a speed between 2.5 and 3.0GHz
    HDD 250GB - 1TB (somewhere in there)
    vista home premium 64bit

    those are the must haves. the screen size isn't too relevant and the graphics and sound cards can be mid range.

    i have also been looking at some gaming mouses and keyboards, any recomendations?

    also, is it really worth going for an SSD over a HDD at this time?

    whats the best site/deal to look at?

    It depends how much traveling the laptop will do. If it is a desktop replacement and you don't move it much then save your $$$. If it will be carted around and you want something that is light weight and can put up with some bumps without the hd crashing then go with ssd.
