Need a software recommendation..

Can anyone recommend me a good program that shows a detailed information of a person in a new folder when I clicked on the name?

I think you may need to clarify. What information are you looking for, and what are you clicking?

Also, include details of the environment this program will be run in: What operating system? Is it on a network? If so, does the network have a domain?

 

Sry for the lack of details..
I wanted to do a list of personal profiles of students with name, age, address, tel no. & fees.. so I can manage their informations more effectively..
& also it should allow me to check on the names & accumulate the amount of fees paid so I won't have a headache counting the sums repeatedly..

Yeah, it certainly sounds like a job for a spreadsheet to me. There is the Microsoft Office suite, or for a free alternative, you might look into the OpenOffice suite
