Need advice on buying DDR2 for ASUS P5B-Deluxe

Im looking for 2gb of DDR2, I do mainly gaming but do use photoshop and other apps.
What would be some good ram for the mobo, Ive heard its a little picky when it comes to ram? Is the latency (CAS) the main factor when buying ram or the bus speed?

Edit: I do not overclock, and dont intend to.

Isnt that stuff meant for overclocking due to the huge heatsinks?
Im looking for good performance but not overkill or overclocking.
Would like to be around $250.

I was just browsing newegg and saw this (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820231098) would this be good? It seems to cheap to be good lol. I'm a believer of getting what you pay for.

Check out www.crucial.com. They run an on-line free scan of your PC. The results tell you specs of what RAM you have installed, tell you what you can fit and also recommend options. They even offer an option to check if your RAM is VISTA ready Bazza

Well, one thing to take into cosideration, not all ram is compatible with all mobos.

What exact model, or models are ye looking into?

For instance, I was working on a gigabyte mobo, that could not use this off the wall branded ddr2 set of ram. Found out, it was incompatible. Not my pc.
