I'm thinking of asking The Parents to get me something *very portable* so I can work on Word docs while waiting on granddaughter at her numerous therapy and doc appts. I have a laptop which I love enough to marry it, but with a purse and diaper bag to carry as I steer her wheelchair, I am looking for something SMALL to fit in purse.

My friend had a Sony Clie but apparently they are off the market. Yes?

So I was looking at Palms and saw on Amazon a pretty inexpensive foldout keyboard -- I am NOT gonna be a person who can use a stylus -- called a Palm One that got high ratings, but how can I tell if it will be adaptable to new Palms like the Tungsten E2 (Daddy won't go for buying something used)?

How do I know which screen is best for someone with way less than perfect vision? How much memory do I need and is it hard or expensive to start small and upgrade with some kind of memory stick or card?

Am I even looking at the right product for my purpose? All I want is portable Word doc (to edit, not just read) with a regular-ish keyboard.

Thanks if you can make sense of and comment on this muddled request. I am so techno-deficient it is pitiable.
