You're doing all the hard stuff first infoseeker.

    See how this goes>

To start your computer by using the Last Known Good Configuration feature, follow these steps:
    1. Start your computer.
    2. When you see the "Please select the operating system to start" message, press the F8 key.
    3. When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, use the ARROW keys to select Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked), and then press ENTER.
    4. If you are running other operating systems on your computer, use the ARROW keys to select Microsoft Windows XP, and then press ENTER.

    thanks for all the reply
i try in safemode--- still same problem
    Last known Good........... nothing works
i (we, together with the technician) that the problem is the switch on
there is something losing contact or what
This is really crazy, we check all the hardware install but the only problem is the smallest thing i think
But thanks all guys, im still looking for this switch cause ist not available in pc shop, i must look in electronics

What do you mean by shutdown properly by itself? Went through the usual procedure?

Maybe you picked up a worm?? Have you got anti virus boot disc's to try?

    infoseeker Master Sergeant

    yes the usual procedure
    Worm? hopefully not
Yes im using AVG ang last week im been in thourogh HJT with CHASLANG assistance (and all is been fixed)
Actually its (pc) in the shop now, and the switch is in my hand to look in the electronics shop (as of now im in the internet cafe) and its running okey (naked)
Because as in my LOG quoted, we take out first the HDD then we try to start in 2 seconds after it shutdown then follows the other hardware (listed above)

so hopefully we got the right one (switch)

By the way thanks for the reply, as soon my pc is fixed i will let you know (probably by thursday morning- phil. time)
