Need antivirus software....

Hi all! I'm looking for some free virus protection for a PC running Windows2000 Advanced Server. I've tried the free big three (AVG, AntiVir, Avast) and none of them will install on W2k Advanced Server. I'm going to try PCTools, and Comodo, but in the meantime..... any ideas?

I guess a freeware version AV is needed? the AV majors all need you to install their server versions of AV sadly.

Could try ClamAV/SOSDG

I believe that Clam does not provide any realtime protection and is only an after the fact scanner. So if the requirement is also to have active protection you will need to investigate this further.

AFAIK, Clam AntiVirus is, indeed, an on-demand scanner only and provides no real-time active protection. I have A-Squared running a scan right now. When it finishes, I'll try PCtools and/or Comodo but I have a sinking feeling that they too will not run on w2k advanced server. But I'll give it a go.... if anyone else has any suggestions for free active virus protection for Windows2000 Advanced Server, please post a suggestion! Thanks!
