ok, I recently picked a computer up from a thrift store. It has windows XP on it. I'd rather not format but it's the only way I can think of to get rid of this amazingly annoying program: Safe Eyes.

Needless to say, I don't have the original owners password. It's the only that I haven't been able to fix. I've spent many hours fixing up this computer and would very much appreciate any help that anyone could give me.

How do I remove Safe Eyes without the admin. password?

Thanks in advance for any help given. Much appreciated.

    Hello,
Can you get into safemode and use the built in administrator account to add another admin account. Then log into the admin account you just created to remove the software.

Normally you should be able to change the admin password.
Restart the machine and start pressing F8 immediately.
    2
Boot into 'Safe Mode' (it has a default administrator account).
    3
Go to control panel --> User Accounts
    4
Change the password of the account you want.

yes, I tried that. It didn't work. It just keeps telling me to get an uninstallation code by typing in the safe eyes password and username.

I hate this God forsaken program so much. It blocked Demonoid, Vuze and Firefox from being accessed. Why bother even having a computer?

I'd use Autoruns to list all non-MS/Windows entries and disable any that belong to Safe Eyes. Once they're disabled and you reboot and test that everything is now working without the SE interruptions, you can safely delete the SE files.

Use Autoruns carefully, it can break Windows!

    Run this:

Using MGtools Which will hopefully give me enough information to get rid of it. Attach the C:\MGlogs.zip

To be honest and to quote "It blocked Demonoid, Vuze"
    Be careful.
    Cheers..
