Need Assistance

Hi Geeks.......... Have an issue with my Asus laptop where it wont burn programs that i have downloaded i sent the burn error logs to Nero and they said that i need a firmware update not knowing what this was as I am a computer noob I paid a tech to come out and fix this issue he said it was done and charged me 295$ however it was not done at all and upon calling the company again was charged a further 345$ for another tech from the same company to fix his work and its still not fixed was wondering if anyone had Teamviewer and was willing to help me with this issue as it seems to be in utter chaos cheers Geeks

In order to assist anyone here who may be able to help you, could you please give the following information:

1. What is the exact name and model number of the laptop
2. What is the exact Operating System and Service pack installed (eg Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10) and whether it is 32 bit or 64bit
3. What is the exact name and version of Nero software installed
4. What exactly were you trying to do when you say 'burn programs'
5. Were you given any exact/specific information as to what program the 'firmware' update required was related to.

I believe the firmware update refers to the optical drive so, we'd also need the make/model of your optical drive. Thanks.
