I tried watching movies on my pc, the picture was good, had sound, but it was a little distorted. You couldn't make out what they were saying real clear. I was told to download some kind of audio codec. I just need advice or suggestions, please.
    Thank you

You need to tell us what version of windows you are running and what program you are using to watch the movie.

Sound distortion doesn't have anything to do with codecs. Codecs might possibly let you hear sound, if you get none.

What brand and model of computer? You might need an updated sound driver but we won't know what sound chip or card you have until we know the brand and model of computer you are using.
