Need battery for old notebook

I just aquired a old notebook and got it working, but it needs a battery.

It's made by MiTAC and is a MiTAC 5033 R07.

The battery is a Toshiba TH-3500A, and I would like to find a supplier.

Has anybody come up with a hack to hook a different battery to a old notebook computer because I can't find a battery available.
