Need chart making program

I need software that will generate cross hatch grids so that they can be printed out. Does anything in Windows do this?

If I remember correctly, you have Word, right? You can do it with the Table funtion. Use Draw table to get it exactly like you want it. In the Help you will find loads of info about tables and charts. Play with tables until you get what you want. I came up with these in a flash.

Excel opens like this. You can play around with the sizes, add titles, whatever you like.

 

Close. I have Wordperfect. There is a table function. I need 6 columns with ten cells in each column. I've managed to get the 6 columns but can't find the function to get the right number of cells. Second problem is how to make each cell a square. They are all rectangular.

Using table quick create I enter the number of columns and the number of rows, but the cells are rectangular. I can't get square cells to create a page of simple graph paper. What steps did you follow to produce the chart on the last post?

 

Mine come out equal...don't know why.
You can start with creating the first row with the number of colmns you want and then use the 'Insert row' function until you have the number of rows you want.

I can add rows, but creating a table always gives me the first row of rectangular cells. I can't find an adjustment for changing the cell size. I tried using the cursor to decrease the space between each row, but the cells can't be squared.

Make the first row and then right click in the first cell. Select 'Format'. Set the size you want for the Column, then on the Row tab set the same size.

You'll have to 'play' with the size until you get what you want.

 

So that's how to adjust the rows. Now that I have the right size cell, how do I just click on something to make a whole page of them?

 

Now that you have the first row of cells the size you want just use the insert row function for the number of identical rows you want.

 

That's hepful. Do you know how spreadsheets work? I tried Google's but the help isn't very good.
