i need decent headphones for gaming and for my music but the thing is that i want headphones that cover my ears completely as the others irritate the living hell out of me. also is it possble that they support surround sound. it will be for pc use and for the dvd player as i work shifts and dont want to wake the family.
    thanks in advance :)

I think the company "Plantronics" makes good quality earphones like the type you are looking for. My friend owns a pair, but I'm not sure of the model number. Anyway, look up that company. Hope this helps in your search

I too use a set of Sony headphones & they do sound fantastic. Maybe check out these Zalman's. They have been getting great reviews around the different sites.

Best cans I've used are Grado for music and Platronics for gaming. The Grado's are open design, however.

Heard many good things about Sennheiser, but they're the kind of manufacturer who you either love or hate. Kinda like Maxtor or MSI. I've never used them myself.

I really want some nice earphones. I would really like some to cancel out sound so I can listen to them while I'm mowing the yard and what not.
