After recently getting my laptop online I went to a site that checks if all your drivers are upto date+spec. It said 5 of my drivers were out of date. To sort it out you have to buy the software for $50! Being poor and tightfisted I decided to sort it myself! I managed to find and update all of them myself except one! My AGP driver. The hardware is SiS648fx PCI to AGP bridge, I have the SiS AGP driver 1.21 installed which according to SiS is the latest compatible one?! Any suggestions anyone please???

The site is probably only suggesting the driver is out of date because of its age.

PCI-Express has been around for quite some time now, so it is unlkely that you will find any recent AGP drivers apart from the Graphics card drivers themselves, which are updated fairly often (Nvidia & ATI)

If you dont have any problems, there is no need to worry about it.

You could hand over your money to them, but I doubt that they would find a newer driver anyway.
