need driver

    My grandson has my old HP Pavilion model# 6370z with win98 1st edition
    the USB port on the computer is not functioning and I was advised to download the drivers and reinstall them
    I went to the HP web site but couldnt find the drivers can anyone give me some ideas as to what to do next :rolleyes:

    Microsoft may have the drivers you need if they were default drivers provided by microsoft when HP installed them. If this computer came with the windows cd they will be on there. Or you can find someone who has a disk and borrow their's and install the drivers from there.

    See if any of those help and let us know.:D

    Hi tigerray00.... Yes HP answered me very promptly they sent me to intel to download the drivers I installed them and and everything now works fine :)
