   i have a laptop that had windows media center. i have just put XPpro on it. the hard driver that i was storing my drivers on got deleted an reformatted. so now i have no net drivers, an no way to connect this comp. to the internet. comp was bought on ebay an i have no driver disc or original windows disc. can somebody please help me get my comp. on the net??

   What is the laptop make and model as the manufacturer will likely have the drivers for your laptop on their support and drivers site, do remember to install the motherboard/chipset drivers first then the network drivers (NIC/LAN/Ethernet ).
   
   But if you get stuck, please post your Laptop make and model and we will do our best to assist you in finding the drivers.
