Need Email Clients for FREE Hotmail

Are there any email clients I can download that would allow me to view the free version of Hotmail in? I know Outlook does not permit it, neither does Mozilla.
There has to be one out there that does.
My sister has Hotmail and most of the time (not all of the time) she sends photos out, they show up in everyone's inbox as heiroglyphics. Pages and pages of them.

I'm thinking it's Hotmail issue
I want her to download another email program and give that a try.
But I cant find one that will allow us to import the free version of Hotmail in to
