need for speed carbon crashes

    im running need for speed carbon and after 56% or right after i defeat wolfe the game crashes or fails to respond then crashes.im runnning it on a xps m1710 .my os is vista premium my graphic card is a 512 mb 7950gtx and i have updaed the driver directly from nvidea so no graphic card issues there.anyone know if there is a patch or a fix for this issue?rolleyes
