Need GOOD Hard Drive Repair Utility Pls...

    anyone know of a really good HD scan/fix/repair utility? I have one just barely breathing and need to do Triage quick before it becomes unrecognizable.

    I tried the Western Digital online scanner and it was able to at least communicate but found so many errors that it bailed.

    About the only thing you can do is run chkdsk /r/f ....or slave it to another computer and get what you can off of it ....also use PCInspector file recovery to salvage ...

    Tim, that was a good tip. the PCInspector file Recovery Utility is able to get at least some of the files off the victim.
