Need help/advice re: ROXIO, please

Hi! Me again! (22/7/07)
I have Roxio V.7.2.1. installed, but I'm getting the following:
Instruction at "0x003fb370" referenced memory at "0x007f66e0"
The memory could not be written;
Alternatively:
Instruction at "0x129df9b2" referenced memory at "0xfffffff"
The memory could not be read.

I have a HP Compaq, still under guarantee as we got the machines in August last year. I know it came with XP, and I THINK the Roxio was also on, but can't say for certain, although I would presume so. I'm networked with my hubby and the Roxio on his computer is giving the same readings, but I don't think his machine picked it up from mine.
Apologies for sounding vague, but not being a fundi, I can't explain more clearly...

Any advice?
I'm considering deleting and reinstalling it from the internet site - would that be wise?
