Need help Ati graphic card

    Hello ok so i'm looking to buy a new video card a ATI card. My budget is $150-$200 canadian dollars. I need it so that I can run games like World of Warcraft at the max settings without lag someone from another forum told me that the ram wasn't the problem. So here i am looking for a new vidoe card.What can you guys recommend? Also if you guys need any more info about my system I'll try my best to get it.

    Jeeeezus H!!!!! That's quite the list! No offense, but I didn't read past the CPU description. Take a look at the ATI x1600 or x1650 cards. They're available in AGP or PCI-Express; 256mb or 512mb on board; and they're VERY reasonably priced. I've had some experience with these cards, and they game really well. And the price has come WAY down in the past 2-3 months. Check it out....

    According MeitHed above, you'll need the AGP version of any card you decide to get. AGP's generally cost a little bit more than PCIX cards, who knows why... If you're running the stock HP power supply (ie; the one that originally came built into the PC) you'll probably want to upgrade it anyway, regardless of what video card you get. The mass market PC people (HP, Dell, Compaq, Gateway, etc) are infamous for using WEAK power supplies. Go with a good 400w - 500w with at least 25A on the 12v line and you should be fine. I'm sure some other folks can help you out with good, reasonably priced power supply as far as make and model goes....
