Need help, comp wont boot anymore...

Hello, lately my computer has been giving me some trouble. Last week my power drive died and the new one arrived today. I got all excited and got everything back together... I go to start it up and it says

"Boot from CD: "
"DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER."

I went through everything but what disk is this or how can I get past this. Any help would be nice thanks.

When you say power drive, to what exactly are you referring?
the hard drive, cd rom, what?
It looks as though there is no OS to load or at least the system can't find one. if you have a hard drive with a working OS on it then check to make sure you didn't loosen a cable or connection anywhere.

 

If your "power drive" is your "hard drive" then you have no OS since the drive went poo.

 

pff.... heh sorry i wasnt thinking i meant power supply*. Im gunna go check all the cabals again just to make sure everything is hooked up fine.
