Need Help! Files and Settings Transfer wizard screwed me (I think)

Yesterday I did a complete reinstall of my OS. In order to preserve things on my machine as I know (knew) them I used the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" to save what I thought would be, among other things, my Outlook contacts and mail and IE7 favorites.

After completing the reinstall and moving the F&STW file back to my "New" machine, none of the aforementioned stuff is there.

History: before I ran the F&STW on my old (before reinstall) machine I exported all my mail stuff in a .pst file in preperation for the deed. I even looked afterwards in my Documents and setting\user name\Local Settings\etc and I saw the file \backup.pst present in the folder with the date and time properties correct for the transfer I had just made. Additionally, I assumed that IE7 favorites would be automatic by the wizard.

Is all lost or can someone help me find this in the restore(d) file?

Thanks...the Outlook contacts are of course my biggest concern.
