Need Help: HP A6000n vs Acer MTA500A Desktop

I need help deciding between two desktops: HP A6000n or the Acer MTA500A.

Both are the same price ate BestBuy ($529).
They both have and AMD X2 52 dual core processor 2.2ghz.

the bottom line is the Acer is a better deal on paper. But i am weary about buying an Acer as I dont know much about their quality and other factors such as support, overheating etc.

I dont want something that gives me trouble all the time, which is what I worry will happen with the Acer. However I dont really know anything about HP vs Acer, but the average un-informed person would assume HP is better.

If anyone has any suggestions on getting a HP vs Acer please let me know.

I would suggest building your own computer before purchasing any pre-built PC.
But between the two, I would go with the Acer, Simply because even if it does break down you can sell whatever still works and probably make your money back. Or you could purchase the extended warranty.

 

Go with the Acer. Not everyone is able to build their own.
