Need Help on Internet Explorer

First Time post! HELP! My desktop has Internet Explorer 8 working properly. Laptop has IE8 not working the same... Both systems running XP Professional. If I sign in to say www.progressiveblue.com and then click on a link say read more the page changes to that link but my sign-on is lost. It requires me to resign on after every link that I visit. The way it suppose to work is the system keeps track that your signed on as you click through in case you want to comment... I checked my work laptop and it keeps the sign-on just like my desktop. I reinstalled the IE8 from MS but that did not help. I lowered the security level on the firewall no help. I must have changed 20 functions (INTERNET options) to see if I could get it to work no help. Everything else works fine. My laptop runs through a wireless router but don't think that would inter-fer. I think I'm at a point to replace this 2 year old Gateway that works great except for this one function. Oh one more thing its my wife computer and I'm charged with fixing it or replacing it... Any help is appreciated. If necessary

Sounds like you might have a BHO maybe redirecting you it may be worth clicking on this link READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide and follow the instrutions to the book and be patient and wait till someone gets to you to help sort you out !

Click tools > internet options
Click security at the top
move the lever so it says "Accept all cookies"

 

I have tried the accept all cookies... Thanks That did not work.

I will attempt to read the Malware uninstall... and try that approach tonight. Thanks
