Im new to overclcoking but find it fascinating. I've read numerous overclocking guides and they've been very informative. I would like to know from experienced overclockers though, how to overclock my computer, preferably my processor and my graphics card.
My processor is the AMD Thunderbird 1.1ghz. I cant find the multilplier anywhere in BIOS so that must be locked. So I changed the CPU frequency from default 100 (im guessing this is the fsb speed) to 103 because this is what my computer would accept without crashing. It also changed the DRAM frequency to 103 aswell-whats that?
Ive only managed to gain another 22mhz speed and i was looking for around 100mhz. I looked at the core speed and its running at 1.77, max recommended is 2.1. It wont however let me change this?
So could anyone help me overclock more considering Im not using any extra cooling other than the fan! Also what about my graphics card how to I overclock that? My graphics card is a NVIDIA Geforce 2 mx 64mb
Thanks, hope some people can help me!
