   I am trying to open a Invatation that my Fiance made in Home Publishing on my computer that does not recognize it. It says, can not open a PHP file format. What software will open this?

   Not personally come across any 3rd party software that will open MS HP files in .mhp file format, only software that will open it is Home publishing and another MS app called Picture It.
   
   to view you will have to get your fiance to save it is another format, maybe as webpage ( HTML ) would allow you to view but to edit you'll need MS HP.
