Need help pls

Ok this question has been asked b4, but i shall ask again for all the links that i hav tryed are either for pay o expired. i am running windows vista biz 32-bit, and i hav wmp11, i keep gettn msg that says to chang my visualization settings when i try to play store bout dvd....everything i look at tells me to get decoders o drivers....but most links are expired....anyone have any suggestions??
